Participant and Community Guidelines
These Guidelines apply to all group courses, workshops, webinars, private online communities and related participant communications.
1. Shared purpose
The learning environment is intended to support respectful exploration, reflection and education. Participants are expected to contribute in a way that protects safety, dignity, privacy and individual autonomy.
2. Speak from your own experience
Use first-person language and share from your own experience. Do not diagnose, analyse, interpret, fix, rescue, counsel or coach another participant. Guidance between participants should not be offered unless expressly invited and appropriate within the facilitated activity.
3. Respect and inclusion
- Communicate respectfully and allow different beliefs, identities, backgrounds and experiences.
- Do not harass, threaten, shame, intimidate, discriminate against or sexually approach another participant.
- Do not make defamatory, hateful, obscene or deliberately disruptive comments.
- Respect names, pronouns, personal boundaries and a person’s choice not to share.
4. Confidentiality
Keep confidential the identities, stories, disclosures, images and personal information of other participants. You may discuss your own learning, but must not identify another participant or repeat their contribution.
Do not take screenshots, photographs, audio recordings, video recordings or transcripts. Do not copy or forward group posts, emails, chat messages or participant materials.
The Business requires confidentiality but cannot guarantee that every participant will comply. Share only what you are comfortable contributing in a group setting.
5. Privacy and contact boundaries
- Do not add, message, call, email or solicit another participant privately without invitation or permission.
- Do not collect or publish another participant’s contact details or personal information.
- Do not use the group to sell, recruit, fundraise, promote services or build a mailing list without written permission.
- Do not pressure another person to become a client, collaborator, friend or romantic partner.
6. Safe participation
- Participate while sober and able to engage safely.
- Follow reasonable facilitator directions and venue or platform rules.
- Do not attend in person when seriously unwell or where attendance creates an unreasonable health or safety risk.
- Pause or opt out of an activity that feels unsuitable, and seek support where needed.
- Do not use the group as a crisis, emergency, medical or psychological treatment service.
7. Online conduct
- Use your own account and do not share access links or passwords.
- Join from a reasonably private location and use headphones where appropriate.
- Do not display offensive material or allow an unauthorised person to observe a confidential session.
- Do not post spam, malicious links, unlawful material or another person’s intellectual property.
8. Intellectual property
Course and workshop materials are for the named participant’s personal use. Do not reproduce, teach, distribute, publish, upload to artificial-intelligence systems or commercially exploit the materials or Katherine Anderson’s frameworks.
9. Facilitation and moderation
The facilitator may redirect discussion, mute a participant, remove content, close comments, pause an activity, remove a person from a call or venue, suspend community access or permanently exclude a participant where reasonably necessary.
Serious or repeated breaches may result in removal without refund, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Unlawful conduct or a serious safety concern may be reported to an appropriate authority.
10. Acknowledgement
By participating, you agree to these Guidelines and accept responsibility for your own conduct. You understand that a respectful environment depends on the choices of all participants.
